Here’s why this matters: understanding those pain points and wins allows you to create messaging that speaks directly to what users care about. This newsletter will walk you through a unique process to scrape reviews, analyze them, and—using ChatGPT and a powerful prompt—turn them into world-class cold emails that hit the mark every time.

Let’s dive in.

Step 1: Go to a G2 reviews page, like this one for Intercom: Intercom Reviews on G2
Step 2: Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect. Your screen now looks like this, select the last option “Inspect”

Step 4: Click the Console tab at the top next to Elements.

Step 5: Press Command+K (Mac) or Control+L (Windows) to clear the console.


Step 6: Copy and paste this code into the console

Hit Enter.

Step 7: G2 will scroll to the bottom, scraping the entire page as shown above.
Step 8: Next, copy and paste this code into the console to extract the reviews:

Hit Enter again.

Step 9:
Text would have copied after the last prompt. Paste the copied text into a document or in a notepad. Continue to repeat the process for the next page untill you have enough reviews.
And that’s it—you now have all the reviews neatly compiled and ready to analyze.

Here’s the magic part: you take those reviews, input them into ChatGPT, and with the right prompt, generate cold emails that resonate deeply with your audience.
